"The Alden Law Circle"

I completed all the achievements for the Elden Ring game on Steam in 80 hours during my second playthrough.

I finished the game at the end of March, created the files at the end of April, and wrote my thoughts at the end of May.

I felt that this game had a strong sense of immersion, allowing me to sit down and play for several hours straight. The last time I played a game with such immersion was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Once I entered the game and picked up the controller, I didn't have to think about anything else.

Also, in this game, I often felt the compassion of Hidetaka Miyazaki, such as the ability to skip classes and the ability to farm souls. If I couldn't defeat an enemy, I could just go and find better weapons or level up. Once my stats were higher, most battles became easier (except for the Valkyrie boss). It feels like Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted more people to play this game.

I feel like this game encourages players to bypass enemies they can't defeat and then come back to fight them after leveling up. For example, the initial Tree Guardian and Omen of Evil. If you stubbornly fight them, it will be hours of suffering. But if you spend those hours collecting weapons and leveling up, then fighting these two bosses becomes much easier, and the gaming experience during those hours will be completely different. Although some people might say that this takes away the fun of the Souls series games, for me, it is also a kind of enjoyment to easily defeat originally strong enemies.

However, the late-game content of this game is not perfect, with empty snowy mountains and reused enemies, among other things.

Although this game is said to be open-world, it feels more like a series of Souls-like castle levels connected by an open world. For me, the main purpose of riding a horse on the game's map is still to collect weapons and level up to prepare for the next boss in the level. Although the experience is different from Breath of the Wild, it is still another kind of enjoyment.
